this is me

I have had a passion for photography since my high school days (long, long ago) and have been shooting professionally for over six years. My heart beats for black and white photography — it’s easily my favorite style. It’s funny, most people think it’s just a click of a button, but I could spend a half hour editing a single photo to B&W. I love capturing the unexpected and having insane amounts of fun with my clients. I will do whatever it takes to capture the perfect smile, laugh or sweet emotion. I love working with people and I know how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the lens. Let’s be real, it can be intimidating! I am here to guide you, make you feel your best, and capture all of your uniqueness.

• I am a faith + animal lover and have the cutest pitty ever. I also have a cat … he’s okay.

• My hubby and I just bought a camper to spend most of our summer weekends in it at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes!

• I’m a sucker for a good, grainy photo.

• I actually enjoy working out and do so 5-6 days a week.

• My full name is Rachel.

• I have a pretty intense addiction to coffee and murder mysteries.

• I love to read and listen to books on tape.

• I’m a country girl at heart, and really believe I should live in the south … maybe one day

• I have a peanut-shaped scar in the middle of my forehead. My mom told me not to pick at my chicken pox scabs when I was young, but did I listen? No!
